The mission of the Children Ministry
is to expound the truths of God's Word to our children and
to their parents so that they may come to understand and rely
on God's Word in their everyday lives. |

Christian Women's Council
|
The purpose of the Christian Women's Council is to direct
and guide all females in the procedures and doctrinal teachings
of the Church of God in Christ. |

Good Shepherd
|
Raise funds to report to the Jurisdictional
meeting in August on the 'Good Shepherd' night. Meet
the personal and tangible needs of the pastor. |
|
Hospitality
|
This
group of women and men provide general hospitality services
as needed by the church for various programs, meetings and
events. |
|
Marriage Ministry
|
This ministry exists to aid couples
in their marriage to become more and more purpose-driven --
to focus on the needs of others in balancing the purposes
of worship, fellowship, discipleship, service, and missions. |

Missionary
|
The Missionary Board assist the pastor in nurturing
spiritual growth in the church through the ministry of help
in varied capacities. The Missionaries take the work of Christ
out of the church into the homes of the sick |

Motherboard
|
The mission of the Mother is to
provide opportunity for older members to continue to be involve
in service, support and fellowship within Powerhouse Church
of God in Christ. This ministry focus on events and activities
that enhance and encourage spiritual, moral, physical and
social growth for our Senior Citizens. |
Music Committee
|
This department provides the opportunity
for members to play an active role in the ministry of music. |
Prison Ministry
|
The goals of the Prison Ministry is to
visit prisons, where our brothers and sisters who have made
a wrong choice for their lives. We teach them the way to
true freedom is through Christ
The goal of the Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men and women to become loving and productive citizens of their communities. |

Prayer & Bible Band
|
This department's mission is to teaching, training and
developing prayer warriors from the body of believers of
Jesus Christ within the church, and to go out, empower,
enlighten, encourage and strengthen people in our community,
our state, our nation and our world through the offensive
power of prayer. |

Scholarship Committee
|
This committee
is responsible for raising funds for scholarships for our
graduating high school seniors college students. |
|
| Stewardess
Board |
This
group is responsible for preparing the altar and elements
for the Holy Communion. |
|
| Sunday School |
Bible based classes for all age groups. Each
class has it particular material that is formulated according
to age. Purpose: to Nurture, Train, Guide, and Prepare. |
|
| Transportation Committee |
Provides transportation to members and non members
for church activities and events. The Bus Ministry offers
members and non-members transportation to Church School, Church
Service on Sunday mornings, Vacation Bible School, Revival,
Church Conference and any other church-wide activity. |
|
Usher Board
|
The mission of the Usher Board is to provide
comfort and promote the best worship experience possible to
visitors as well as to the saints of God. |

Youth & Young Adults
|
The goal of the Youth and Young Adult Ministry is to encourage
and inspire young men and womento be strong, successful and live productive
spirit filled lives within the church, home, and community
. |
